Below you'll find how the method works and then 5 formats you can use to go viral! (The last one is my favorite)

Most hooks can be applied to many
niches, so when I find a viral format,
I break the hook down into 3 categories

VIRAL FORMAT:
AUDIO HOOK: (Extreme vs. Extreme) (Niche item / activity)
VIDEO HOOK: Creator doing (niche activity / using niche item)
TEXT HOOK: Relevant emojis mixed in with subtitles

Then I adjust the hook to
match the specific creator.

- GAMING: Easiest vs. Hardest Roblox Games
- TECH: Cheapest vs. Most Expensive Flip Phones
- SPORTS: I wish I knew this before I got into the most expensive sport there is.

MAIN HOOK: The combination of "I wish I knew this BEFORE I built my DIY greenhouse..." and a timelapse preview of the project being built. This makes the viewer wonder 'what went wrong?'
VIRAL FORMAT
AUDIO HOOK: I wish I knew this BEFORE I (Niche action / activity)
VIDEO HOOK: Visual progression or small timelapse of (relevant niche action / activity)
TEXT HOOK:
EXAMPLES: (Audio Hooks)
- GAMING: I wish I knew this before starting Breath of the Wild
- COLLECTIBLES: I wish I knew this before I started buying Pokemon cards.
- SPORTS: I wish I knew this before I got into the most expensive sport there is.
VIEWS: 1.5M
ORIGINAL: The main hook is a fast paced visual tear-down of a chop saw. It's dangerous aura feels like a trainwreck waiting to happen, so naturally the viewer stays to watch.
VIRAL FORMAT
AUDIO HOOK: Wanna see something cool? No? I'm gonna do it anyway.
VIDEO HOOK: POV of (niche item) being modified in an unexpected way.
TEXT HOOK: (Niche Item) (Pain Point) | Reason for modification.
EXAMPLES: (Visual Hooks)

DIY / FOOD: A fast-cut montage of the creator welding a massive industrial fan to a charcoal grill, followed by a shot of the coals glowing white-hot in seconds.

ART / SPRAY PAINTING: A rapid POV sequence of the creator modifying a leaf blower to hold ten spray cans at once, followed by a wide shot of them creating a massive mural in under a minute.

PHOTOGRAPHY: A high-speed montage of the creator mounting 50 tactical flashlights to a single rig, followed by a shot of them turning it on and lighting up an entire dark forest for a landscape photo.
VIEWS: 1.97M
ORIGINAL: The main curiosity driver of this is pretty simple. "I found something" = viewers wonder what they found.
VIRAL FORMAT
AUDIO HOOK: I just found a (Extreme) secret in (Niche)
VIDEO HOOK: Creator / Character + Visual Representation (Niche)
TEXT HOOK:

ORIGINAL: The main hook is the text asking "How many months have you been fishing?" to which the creator funnily responds (also in text) "Months?" - It's a popular trend and really easy to adapt to any skill or niche.

AUDIO HOOK:

ORIGINAL: The main hook is the text "coding for 1 month' and the curiosity it creates about what '1 year' is going to be. The audio hook is seemingly optional.

VIDEO HOOK: Creator at computer - Googles 'How to (forgettable / repetitive niche task)'
TEXT HOOK: Coding for 1 Month - Coding for 1 Year

Lets do a format switch up
GAMING: 1 Month in fortnite (downed player crawling around waiting to be revived) | 1 year in fortnite (similar or same exact clip)
I really like this idea, I think I'm gonna do that content creation one for Creator Rant. Something like 1st short vs 100th short and it's still a flatline in the analytics lol.
